Prochlorperazine Maleate tablets belong to a class of drugs called phenothiazine tranquilizes. It is used to treat dizziness due to ear diseases like Meanie syndrome or labyrinthine, or due to any other causes, nausea and vomiting including during a migraine attack, any mental illnesses like schizophrenia and mania, anxiety for short term. It can be used to prevent and cure nausea and vomiting after any surgery. This tablet works by blocking one of the body natural substances known as serotonin which causes vomiting. Prochlorperazine Maleate tablets is not advisable for children younger than 2 years or children going through surgery.
